STUNNING 1966 BRONCO U13 ROADSTER!!!!!!! ONE OF A KIND QUALITY!
Original Rare Options Including;
Roadster Side Mirror
1966 Specific Factory Seat Belts (front and rear)
Front Rubber "Bronco Script Floor Mat" (option)
Rare 1966 Specific Hubcaps
Rare "Eyebrow Grill"
Rare "pencil dash"
Rare "Eyebrow Tailgate"
Rare Roadster specific rear view fender mounted mirror
"Gentleman's Gutter" on driver side floorpan (allowed water to run out rather than onto your shoes)
All of these options were madeFORFord Motor Co. before mass production by a company called Budd. After, ord made subtle changes to tailgate, rill, ubcaps and a few other things that made the earliest broncos (built before November of 1965 the most desirable.
The 1966 Roadster was unique, n all purpose vehicle without a top or doors. 170 Cubic Inch 105 hp six cylinder, hree speed (three on the tree) column shifter and a Dana 20 transfer case standard. Only the earliest models came with a "ball style" transfer case shifter as the one you are viewing has.
Fiberglass inserts in lieu of doors were standard and a vinyl top and doors were options. The bench seat has been recovered in sourced original NOS vinyl.
There were only 4090 Roadsters built for 1966
This particular roadster was originally a California (dry vehicle) I bought it from the second owner and imported it to South Florida. Professional frame off restoration with body painted off the frame and original pink primer on the original underneath of original solid floorpans.
FLOORPANS AND BED ARE ORIGINAL SHEET METAL, OT REPLACEMENT AFTERMARKET PANS LOADED WITH BED LINER MATERIAL TO COVER UP REPAIRS OR IMPERFECTIONS! NEVER ANY RUST!
FACTORYRANGOON RED PAINT CODE!
Updated Centech Wiring harness to keep it safe. New Brakes, ew Tires, ew hoses, rake lines, rakes, ou name it, t has been done! New fuel lines, efurbished original 1966 fuel tank, ebuilt gauge cluster and reset to 00000 miles! New body mounts, helton exact replica exhaust, ew exhaust manifold, T'S ALL NEW!!
Rear center seat belts were installed before the fuel tank to make for a rear seat option. I have a 1966 specific rear seat recovered in correct matchstick vinyl to match the front and will be happy to install it if the buyer would like a rear seat. A rear seat in the condition of the one that is included in the auction would easily cost $1200+ installed!
Serious Bidders only.No scams.I encourage prospective buyers/ collectors to come view and drive the Bronco in person. It still drives like it did 50 years ago!
I have a ton of photos of floors, ndercarriage, IN plate, tc. text me and I will be happy to send them.
I also still have the original owners manual, ot a reprint, he one from 1966.
As 2016 approaches marking this truck's 50th anniversary speculators predict a soar in price for the 1966 first year Broncos. This is a very honest, ust free California Delivery U13. Bid with confidence and check my feedback rating!
The Roadster is listed locally so I do reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.
A $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is due at auction end. This is strictly to keep bidders honest.
