Up for sale is my Daily Driving 1963 Chrysler 300.
I bought this car a few years ago from my neighbor. He's the original owner and can talk to you for days about all the good times had in this car.The body and interior are all original. This is a numbers matching car.
The Original 383 has 95,000 miles and counting, or the past 5 months I've been driving this car everyday and am getting 13mpg
The body and interior are all original but to make this car a Daily I did some minor things to make it more reliable.
I started with the Brakes: Dual Master Cylinder (from a 1970), rake Booster, ines, hoes, prings, heel Cylinders- everything is NEW and the brakes work better than ever.
After that, gave the motor a face lift with all new parts. Electronic Ignition, ires, lugs, oil, delbrock Intake and carburetor, luminum Radiator, hermostat, attery, uel pump, ater pump, lternator, ebuilt the power steering pump, askets, igh torque starter, uel filter and voltage regulator.I bought all these parts new- whether it needed it or not, wanted to make sure I would not get stranded. It does Not leak oil.
The transmission was rebuilt ~15,000 miles ago.
After the Motor and Transmission were looked over, ext came the suspension, ew front shocks and upper ball joints, verything was greased and looked over.In the rear are air shocks with the filler just under the tag. The car is lowered in the front using the torsion bars and in the rear with a 3" lowering block. Its low but the ride quality does not suffer, t still rides like a c-body should!
The body is in great shape, o rusty holes on the floor pan, t really is a solid survivor.The car was repainted the original color in 1995, ts not 100% perfect but its a solid 8 out of 10 stars. Their is no peeling clear or anything a buffer and some compound won't fix.
I just swapped out the speedometer with one from a different car because the needle fell off the original one so the milage is wrong.I have the original 63' literature for this car and the original set of rims with the original hub caps.-2 sets of keys and a bunch of parts to go along with the car.
New Headlights, igh beam low beam, nterior lights. Everything works. Its nice that the dome light works, ecause at night you open the door you can see what your doing.
Its little things- because this car has only had 2 owners its never been abused with random loose wires all over the place that look lost, his car was taken care of since day one and everything has been done right the first time.
The radio is pretty kick-ass as well, ts a Pioneer amp with 4 - 6x9 Speakers (2 under the front seats and 2 in the back) with a 10" sub in the rear. It really sounds great and was all updated 4 months ago.
Their are only a few things that need to be fixed:The Fuel and Temperature Gauge do not work. I just simply reset the trip meter every time I get gas and fill up once I hit 200 miles.Im waiting on a special nut from a c-body salvage yard in Ohio for the passenger side wiper blade, hen I use the wipers only the drivers side moves because I'm missing that specialized nut.
