Engine:
In July 2014 the 2.7L engine had a major service. Cylinder heads were removed to replace sodium filled exhaust valves. The heads were completely disassembled, nspected, nd planed flat. Reassembly included new intake valve seals, ll 12 followers were replaced, nd stainless exhaust valves. The oil pump was rebuilt and rubber shim installed in crank for pump drive shaft. All timing chains were replaced with new IWIS chains, nylon curved fixed limiter from MIE Corp (Maserati Club) was installed on the primary chain, nd a new primary chain tensioner was installed. Cam timing was adjusted to compensate for the curved primary chain limiter. Additional new parts included head gaskets, iming cover and sump gaskets, ntake o-rings, xhaust gaskets, ater pump seal, tc.
Hydraulics:
All four original suspension spheres were rebuilt with new diaphragms and recharged. All four suspension boots were replaced. New main accumulator sphere also installed. Hydraulics work as designed.
Electrics:
Alternator and external regulator were replaced with an internally regulated Delco-Remy alternator.
Misc:
Shift link bushing under transmission was replaced. Previous work also included rebuilt carbs, efurbished gas tank and new fuel pump. Recently new tires and battery were installed. A replacement bumper will be included as there is damaged rubber on the old one. The car needs minor sorting - one turn signal is not working, and brake needs adjustment, tc . Heater controls require attention. Clutch will be needed in the future but the car is very usable as is. It is an extremely comfortable ride on the highway.
Please examine the photos for chips, icks, aint bubbles and small dents. Please ask questions and call me for more information at 847 275 5013. I don't do well with email...
