Description |

1965 Ford Galaxie 500. Great Daily driver/head turner.
Original parts included, ut not on the car now= valve covers, ir cleaner, istributor (points converted to electric points system), heels, ubcaps, ack and spare.
About 7-8 years ago, he previous owner removed the body from the frame, he frame was replaced with one from a convertible, runk and floor pans were replaced, nd the car was given a paint job. The 289 engine is original to the car as well as the "3 on the tree" transmission. The engine was rebuilt at the same time as the body work was done, ith about 15,000 miles since the rebuild.
Things that I have done to the car since purchased 3 years ago= new HEI distributor/ignition from D.U.I., ir cleaner and valve covers, omplete tune up, armonic balancer, ater pump, an clutch, an, lternator, auge cluster (for oil pressure, ater temp, nd volts), ini tach, ad the clock rebuilt with quartz movements installed, ptima battery, ebuilt carburetor, heels and tires, runk seal, ower window seals, lutch disc and throw-out bearing, ear overload shocks, ainted the trunk, nd new trunk mat. Some minor rust is starting to show in thedoorcorners and fender corners. Surface rust underneath.I was going to change the interior to black if I kept the car, o the new black carpet and visors that I have will go with the car.
I would trust this car to go from one side of the country to the other with no issues. It is ready for someone else to do the same, r take it to the next level.
Why am I selling?
4 Daughters. Need I say more?
