1973 Mercedes 450 SE, W116

I have here a 1973 Mercedes W116 450SE model.
The car runs and drives. Its overall a solid car but to be a "perfect" daily driver needs minor tweaking here and there.
The interior is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures, ith nice red leather seats. It even has the original Becker Europa Radio in excellent working condition.It always started and drives like a tank.The body is straight has one or two surface rust spots here and there, ut nice overall.As you can see from the picture, t needs a new hood and grille to make it look really nice. There is no structural damage and the hood stays closed but its an eye sore and the rest of the car looks good.
I drove it last night for 40 miles, nd the throttle linkage (gas pedal) went loose. So i made it home and just parked it. Im not a mechanic and not sure how to to put it back in place and dont want to mess with a zip tie, ut that is the only issue thats preventing me from driving the car daily. The 2 front tires are bold in the inside, ausing the car to sway left, included 3 used tires in the trunk.I have a complete set of all the manuals that came with the car, ince new. Also a complete tool kit in great shape and misc. service records
Windows works when they want to, eeds to clean the contacts and windshield whipers same thing.
Basically, home mechanic can fix these little issues in a day and the car would be ready to go. I live in the city and rent a garage, o no room to do any work
