Description |

1970 "Series I" Datsun 240Z. Manufactured in Nov. 1970 but I think sold as a 1971. So just to be clear, have listed it as a 1970 because it was manufactured in 1970. It is a True Early Z with all the original Factory Series I details. It has the rear hatch Vents, nd the Speedometer starting at 20 mph. Also has the 240Z insignia on the sides. It had an older restoration that was not quite finished. Car was originally silver. Full size spare and spare well is still silver. Car was stripped but Amature body work was done in the typical areas with filler and has since begun to show some cracking and bubbles. Driver door looks like it has been over extended at some point and then repaired. Driver door sags some. Both doors need to be closed hard due to new seals. Half dollar size stone strike on front windshield that has been sealed and can be repaired. Has a small exhaust leak at manifold. Bumpers look like they have been painted over. Chrome underneath and the paint can be chipped off or stripped to show original Chrome. It is a decent looking and driving Z (10 footer), ot a show car, owever, t is a a good driver that should be redone better.
