SURVIVOR!!! 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX 49567 Actual Mile One Owner Belvedere GTX 426 Dual Quad HEMI V8 Torqueflite auto Yellow with Black Interior. Galen registry states it is #56 of the 60 of all 426 2-4bbl Hemi GTX's accounted for at the Lynch Road, I plant and built for the USA. Original 426 cubic inch Hemi V8 / Correct Sure Grip differential / Correct 3.23 gears Original un restored / Correct Black vinyl interior/ rebuilt original motor. BODYWORK/TRIM This GTX is an unmolested original. It has chips, crapes and dings but looks good for an almost 50 year old car. It has slight surface rust on the drivers door and under trim in front fenders as shown in pictures. I would leave it as is and drive it-she looks good. if you are looking for a car to restore it would be very hard to find a better one. The chrome/trim is starting to pit and shows its age. ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN Block has 2468330 casting number and October 10th, 966 casting date, tamped 2-14-07 HC426.The original, 26 cubic inch Hemi benefitted from a complete rebuild with forged aluminum pistons and a hydraulic ca, 10.25 to 1 compression..Original low-restriction exhaust manifolds, ir cleaner, riginal carburetors, ntake, istributor. The original 26-inch radiator was cleaned and keeps the Hemi cool-no overheating issues. The transmission works as it should. I do not have any documentation on the trans but assume it has been rebuilt. The suspension/brakes have been completely rebuilt. It is riding on 15' wheels/tires. The original 14" wheels will be included in sale. 2 of the original wheels have the lugnut holes elongegated (loose lug nuts?) and I would not use them. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. INTERIOR Open this Plymouth's solid doors and you'll find one of the coolest interiors ever bolted behind a big block engine. Billed as the 'Gentleman's Muscle Car' and finished in correct Black vinyl. Front and center, correct combination of bench and bucket seats . At the sides of that dash, rnate door panels complement correct door toppers. Those panels are sandwiched between a tight headliner and clean carpet, hich frames an original shifter. In front of the driver, correct, -spoke steering wheel frames a chrome, lymouth-branded horn ring.
