This beautiful Dodge Raider is a real time capsule. It is all original, nrestored and rides and drive excellent. It has unmatched off road capabilities. If you know what a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ70 is then you know that this truck is very similar. Nothing beats these in off road capabilities-not Land Rover Defender 90s, ot Mercedes Benz G Wagens, ot Land Cruisers, ot Jeeps Wranglers. These re-badged for Dodge Mitsubishi Monteros were top of the line and really run great with the Mitsubishi 3.0 liter V6 engine and 5 speed manual transmission with 2 speed transfer case. This truck has always been registered in Arizona and New Mexico so it has no rust anywhere, specially underneath and in the wheel wells or rear seat belt mounts-no rot in any of the usual places. The paint is shiny and glossy. The yellow color and pin striping give it a beautiful vintage flair. The V6 engine starts right up with no clatters and runs smooth and strong. It has good oil pressure and good compression. The truck is well maintained and the timing belt, ater pump, ollers, nd drive belts were all just replaced at 158,000 miles. I have receipts for over $4,000 in mechanical work performed in the last 2 years. The front suspension has all new ball joints and bushings. The truck has a 2" ARB Old Man Emu lift as well. Also, he automatic front locking 4WD hubs were swapped out for manual locking hubs that work better. There are no oil leaks, he interior is very nice and clean for a 27 year old truck, nd the entire truck is mostly original. I also have the original rear springs if you want to change it back to the factory ride height. The wheels installed for the photographs are FJ60 wheels and are not included. I have a set of chrome multi-spoke Montero wheels that are almost exactly the same. I was going to install those on my Land Cruiser but the off set isn't right. I will have the Dick Cepek Mud Country tires mounted and balanced on those. I also have the matching spare. This truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if sold at my asking price to a local buyer. Feel free to ask any questions. I may be able to deliver this vehicle for a fee that would be less than what major shippers charge, epending on your location and time frame. Thanks for looking.
