Up for sale are my two (2) Heckflosse W110 190D Mercedes Benz automobiles. One has been partially restored the other has been partially used for a parts donor. There are numerous additional parts that go with the cars. Those include a short block engine and air conditioner. One of the 190D’s came from “Texas” and the other came from “Ohio.” Both are inspected and clear titled here in North Carolina. The Texas car was picked for restoration because its body was in the best condition. Ohio had a better engine that tested in great condition. Texas had been outfitted with AC so we first attempted getting its engine running only to find that it had low compression on one cylinder during our tests and decided to make repairs without doing a major component transplant. Initially our intentions were to restore both Texas and Ohio. From our testing we decided that the valves were leaking and the injection pump was improperly timed. So we had the head rebuilt and timed the injection pump only to further conclude the rings were in need of replacement so we pulled the engine from Ohio and installed it in Texas. That’s where Ohio and Texas are at currently. Ohio’s engine, ransmission and drive shaft are now installed in Texas and it runs. The shift linkage on the running Texas needs to have bushings installed and adjusted. We have many of those parts and will, f course will go with the car. It has new tires, rakes, teering parts, tarting and a variety of other parts. Ohio has better upholstery and the dash is in better shape. The unitized body on Ohio has more rust and will need more body attention however both cars are candidates for restoration. That would be your choice if you want to do engine work or some sheet metal welding. Ohio does not currently have tires but the rims are waiting to have tires installed if you decide to restore it. Otherwise it can be dismantled for parts.
