This is not your ordinary 280z and you aren't likely to find many others like it for sale. Car is far from perfect and needs some TLC, ut it should be an easy restoration. It has 4 brand new Micheline Z-rated tires and is a head turner/conversation starter. It has a Jim Cook Racing Series body kit, ut I am not certain if the kit was installed after market or is an original Jim Cook California Z. I have heard conflicting opinions about the value of the car and buyer should perform their own due diligence prior to bidding or committing to buy. One thing that has not been disputed is that there are not many of these cars around.
Vehicle is not currently running and has not been started in 18 months; offered "AS IS" "WHERE IS" and sale is final and without recourse. Access to car for inspection can be arranged with seller at request of buyer prior to submitting bid. Car has been stored inside of a steel building safe and secure from the east Texas weather.
Buyer is responsible for contacting seller within 72 hours to make payment arrangements. Payment in full is required within 10 days following close of auction. Seller will accept a bank-issued cashiers check or bank wire. Seller has a clean Texas title in sellers name. Seller will transfer title to buyer within 10 days after seller receives payment in full. Buyer to arrange for pickup/transport at buyers expense within 30 days following successful transfer of payment from buyer to seller.
