I purchased this rare original condition Datsun L320 Truck from a Datsun enthusiast. He owned Roadsters and a 240Z. His goal was to build this truck so he could bring up to the annual Datsun event in Solvang. He and his son rebuilt the engine, carb etc and installed with transmission which has the shifter on the column. They put together and installed new clutch incorrectly, pulled apart and never got back around to reinstall. I have the parts including new radiator, additional carburetors, air cleaner, heater fans, starter, alternator, and other new and original parts.
The body has rust as shown with a nice patina on the body and is structurally sound. Still has the rare original chrome half bumpers and trim. This vehicle of course does not run but with some work and help of the included service manual it can be on the road soon. It is registered in CA on a non-operational so no back fees and since a 1963 no smog certificate required. The engine alone is worth the buy it now price. The original radio has been removed and is NOT included.
I am selling because a friend of mine who also had a L320 (what got me interested) decided to sell his which was already fully restored. While the price i bought his for was 3 times the price of this L320, I purchased and I am now selling this one instead of restoring.
Vehicle is listed for sale locally and this auction can end at any time. I am open to reasonable offers.
