Up for auction is aRARE "Flame Red" 1998 Dodge Dakota R/T. 1 of 93 in that color for that year. It is a REAL R/T!Exterior needs paint but the body is in good shape. Interior need A/C repair (does not blow cold and will not take a charge...?), nd is missing the ashtray/storage compartment located between the radio and glove box but the seats/center console are in great shape. Motor will need a new Starter but for the time being it starts and runs VERY STRONG! Rotors will need to be "turned" OR replaced but the truck DOES go and stop as expected. Has C.A.I., eaders, xhaust, owl induction hood, nd roll pan. Truck was featured on"Hot Rod Network" (http://www.hotrod.com/cars/featured/mopp-0202-1998-dodge-dakota-rt/) in 2002 and wasmodified on "Trucks TV" by Mr. Stacy Davis. The supercharger mentioned in the article is no longer on the vehicle. It was removed prior to me purchasing it though the "Boost" gauge is still installed on the driver side pillar.I do have the grill parts as seen in the article and they will go with the truck as will the hard tonneau. The only rust I can see is on the front of the hood near the emblem. Since I had a lot of viewers and watchers last go around that were a bit concerned about the price I will sweeten the deal by throwing in the original hood (red), he original bumper (red), nd a few other odds and ends. Its a good truck for the money. Since last listing the truck has developed a intermittent habit of showing the "ABS" and "Brake" lights. I have read up on this and it seems to have something to do with the "Speed Sensor" possibly...? It does NOT have an effect on the driving of the truck! NO leaks underneath the truck! YES, t does require a little interior/exterior work BUT it is 18 years old! If you bid AND win you get NO truck/parts UNTIL I havecash in hand! Shipping is entirely up to the BUYER!
