1960 DODGE 400 TRUCK

1960 Dodge 400 farm truck with a 15' flatbed with removable sideboards. 318 2bbl. V8 gas engine with 4 speed manual transmission 2 speed electric shift rear differential7. 50 x 20 inch tires. This truck is as original as they come. Excellent body. original paint with a little too much patina for my taste! Odometer shows around 35. 00 miles. and I believe that it is correct. Speedometer works! No rust anywhere that I have found. has a couple of small dents only in the body. Grille is nice. Interior needs new headliner. floor mat. and seat cover. Mechanically truck runs and drives well. Brakes will about put you though the windshield. Engine runs smooth. but carb sometimes has a slight hesitation (accelerator pump). Two speed is stuck in high. I haven't checked to see if there is even power to it. However. when you switch the lever. it does still change the speedometer reading so that it is accurate!7. 50x20 tires are old. Most have good tread. and there are absolutely no vibrations driving down the road at 60 mph. Some of the lights do not work. horn works when it wants to. Needs a windshield. overall. a very straight. hard to find truck from Chrysler's "Forward Look" and "Sweptline" years. I would NOT recommend trying to drive it home due to the fact that it hasn't been regularly driven since 2004 and sparingly even then. It is being sold as is. with no warranty expressed or implied.
