Never fully restored. this Sweptline is a very well-preserved Power Wagon that is presented in Medium Blue over Blue. This Sweptline is one of only 1. 00 4x4 half-ton 114" wheelbase models built in 1970. and it has been a local Northwest truck since new. originally selling and spending the majority of its life in the dry climate of central Oregon. It is powered by a correct 383ci V8 and 3-speed automatic transmission. According the VIN. this '70 Sweptline was built at the Warren Truck plant in November 1969. It is a proper W-100 half-ton conventional-cab Sweptline and was originally built with a 383ci V8 under the hood. This example still features a 383ci V8 engine. which is backed by a 3-speed 'Loadflite' automatic transmission that was optional for the 1970 model year. As a Power Wagon model. it also features select-able four-wheel drive. This Sweptline has been mildly upgraded with a 2-inch frame lift for a more aggressive off-road look. and the white-painted steel wheels are wrapped in new BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. A new dual exhaust system was fitted to the V8 in September 2014. and the interior received new blue vinyl upholstery in November 2014.
