1966 Thunderbird Town Coupe 1966 Thunderbird Town Coupe. two owners. remarkably original well preserved example. Rust free high desert eastern Washington State car all it's life. Factory Ember Glow color with one very nice repaint close to 10 years ago. Laser straight body with all panels that fit like it came from the Ford Factory. All rubber throughout the car is soft and in excellent condition. All the stainless is nice original with no damage. The glass is also in remarkable condition for 49 years old. Very nice original chrome with very minor pitting in very few places. Door jams. under hood & firewall panels well preserved. Original leather interior in wonderful condition with reclining passenger seat. Trunk is in excellent original condition. Tilt swing away steering column. All inside chrome is exceptional for being original. Some pitting on pieces but questionable whether you might redo it. Headliner. package tray and carpets are like new. Door panels are beautiful as is all the overall interior. All the interior lights. dash lights. and dome lights work nicely. Factory AM radio with original 8-track player. Power windows. power side vent windows. and power antennae. Factory air conditioning that doesn't operate. Nothing is missing from the system. Power seat switch is also in-operable. Optional passenger outside mirror. Heater works and all the exterior lights including the sequential rear turn signals that operate quickly as they should. Factory original Ford 390 V8 that runs like a watch. Transmission works nicely. exhaust proper and brakes well. Front end is tight and drives smoothly without wondering. Tires are new. Drives lovely down the freeway. Overall a very well cared for Thunderbird during all of it's 49 years. A remarkable survivor in beautiful overall condition.
