2005 Ford Mustang Convertible-Premium

History - Here is an opportunity for a clean Mustang convertible with mature owners only. The car sat a number of years after original owner got cancer. It was purchased with very few miles on it. and my wife and I have used it for daily driver to work. and many enjoyable drives and trips with the top down. The car has a 210hp V6 that gets reasonable gas mileage and is strong when you need it to be. Mechanically the car has been well taken care of. All new suspension parts/shocks were installed around 80k miles. new brakes. new battery recently. tires have about 8-10k on them. The original convertible top was replaced new about 2yrs ago and is in great condition. The transmission started to show signs of wear and so it was recently replaced and comes with a 2yr warranty that can be redeemed locally with the new buyer. The 500watt factory sound system w/6 CD changer is incredible. and the ability to change the dash light colors is a neat trick. There are no tears or burns in any of the interior and the black seats have a factory finish that keeps them fairly cool when you slide in with a pair of shorts on after it has been in the sun for awhile. I installed a light weight hitch (1500lb capacity) to pull a small trailer to a beach vacation. it was install the hitch or leave he car at home and take the truck; it has only been used that one time. but in addition to a trailer. is bicycle rack ready. I also purchased an extra set of tires and had them mounted on exact match aluminum Mustang wheels. this alone was a $500 cost and is included in the deal. The tires have about 4k miles on them. As a southern car there is ZERO rust. The vehicle has never been in a wreck. or had collision work. The body is in excellent condition. albeit not perfect it is close. There are only a couple of barely noticeable dings on the car and anyone who does the BUY IT NOW price. I will pay to get the dings removed with a professional dent technician. There are a few minor paint chips on the car from just road wear; but I have exact match paint touch up for the car. In general the paint finish is beautiful. and the paint color was a premium paint option on the car. Payment - Upon winning the auction or winning via Buy it Now. the Down Payment would be $ 250 down via Pay Pal or certified check/wire overnight. Vehicle is for pickup at my home in Asheville. NC. I am open to working out a shipping arrangement if desired by the buyer. Final payment is requested via certified bank check. I get frequent compliments on this car when I am out an about; the paint really stands out. The reason I am selling this car is that I have purchased a new convertible and it is time to let it go. It has been a terrific car. and still has many. many miles of enjoyment left in it. at a reasonable cost and very solid drive train.
