In 2005, the "new" Mustang was not an easy car to buy at the dealerships when they were first introduced. Demand was high for this cool redesign of the iconic American "dream" car of our youth. One of the top-selling Ford dealers in the country, located in the Detroit, area was adding the "Shelby look" to enhance the excitement and set these GT's apart from the standard GT offering. This one is really striking in "Performance White" with Shelby tradition Blue "LeMans" stripes. Check out the rocker moldings (ground effects) and the "GT500" spoiler (standard on the GT). The interior is special too with the Blue Piping trim on the Dark Charcoal Leather seats to match the exterior LeMans stripes. Overall, this '05 has a much newer look with these enhancements and the 20" Chromed Wheels add to the "look".
With only an average of 6,300 miles per year driven, this GT has enjoyed a pampered life. Our seller purchased this 2005 Mustang GT in 2008 and became the second owner. She has loved and cared for this car with passion and you will see that in person and further proof is the maintenance history (with receipts). The CarFax record is perfect showing no accidents. The most recent maintenance receipt From a local Ford Dealership is dated 8/17/16, and at that time it received a Driver Airbag Inflator replacement (under warranty), an Oil Change and a Multi-Point inspection ("O" noted needs...and in their words: "Condition Green"!).
The original "Factory Window Sticker" is included a well as the Glove Box Books. As you may know, all of the 2005 Mustang GT's Premium Package cars came really well equipped and some may say "fully loaded". However, beyond all of the Premium features such as Leather (Sport Seats), Speed Control, Tilt Wheel, Power Drivers Seat, Windows, Locks, Windows, Mirrors, Traction Control, AM/FM/6-CD/MP3... this GT also has the factory optional Audio upgraded from the standard Shaker 500 Sound System to the Shaker 1000 System, the Interior Upgrade Package, the Anti-Theft System, the Convertible Boot Cover and the Front Seat Side Airbag option.
