I recently acquired this Ford Falcon Sprint. Through a trade. he previous owner told me the the car was restored about 7 years ago and is a real 1965 Falcon Sprint 63D. VIN# & BODY TAG CONFIRMS IT. The turquoise color is the original color that the car would have been(color code 5) VERY RARE only number code (I could find) all others are alphabets/letters. He also stated that the engine is the original 289 engine that came in the car. Please see photos of engine & cast numbers. (I'm not knowledgeable enough about Fords so here's the ENGINE CAST/ build date (C5AE-6015E) (4J3) transmission cast# pass side trans# (C4AP-7AO40C B) drivers side transmission cast# (C5AP-7DO27-1) The car has had many expensive and safe upgrades: including very expensive 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes . Pioneer high end custom audio system. Michelin tires. Scott Drake Billit Wheels. upgraded pertronics. Lokar center console shift kit. newly installed carpet. a newly upgraded suspension to include leaf springs and shock absorbers. ir. so its easy to lower or raise the back for the look you want) a front end rebuild and a $200 front end alignment. Upgrades also include a Grant wood steering wheel. The car came originally with a column shift but was converted to a Lokar center shift for a muscle car look and feel. All original column parts will be included in case the new owner wants to convert it back to original. It is missing a door handle escushion (small ring that goes around door handle) and the drivers and passengers armrests. The weather stripping around the front vent windows need to be replaced. some chrome not perfect. ome small imperfections but really shiny paint & easy 8+ The car runs. handles and drives smooth.
