1965 FORD FALCON FUTURA 2 DOOR 302 V8 AUTOMATIC RESTORED! SPRINT

Offered from the Mike Patak Ford collection in Omaha, E is a 1965 Ford Falcon Futura that has been in the collection since 1988. In 1988 this Falcon was purchased from an elderly couple in Lincoln, E. In 1989-1992 the car had a partial restoration where the original inline 6 engine, Speed Ford-A-Matic transmission and rear differential were all removed and replaced with a 302 (10.5 to 1 compression) engine, C4 transmission with B&M shift kit, lug front brakes and spindles and a 57 Ford 9" rear end with a 3.70 traction loc gear ratio. The car was driven and shown in many local cars shows in the 90's. In 2002 the car was completely torn down andreceiveda professional rotisserierestoration where the engine was refreshed, ody was stripped to bare metal and painted in its original Brittany Blue color and received a new completely stock interior. $35,000 was invested at that time in just the restoration. Since 2002 the car has been kept in a climate controlled showroom and driven approximately 100 miles since the restoration. This Falcon runs and drives excellent. The odometer shows 65,284 which is believed to be actual although the title states exempt due to its age.
This will be one of the nicest Falcon's out there offered for sale. It has been very well taken care of for almost 30 years. This is from a private collection and is not some auction car that has been hauled to several different sales.
