I am the second owner of the car and lived in Chicago my entire life until recently when I moved to Nevada (the car is also in Nevada now). When I purchased it. a lot of the work was already done but it was a street car setup. It was a 5 speed manual and had Cobra R 18" wheels with Nitto tires. The previous owner had the original work done at Speed Inc. in Schaumburg. Illinois. On June 18. 2008. I dropped the car off at Speed Inc. who originally built the car and they began the transformation. When they finished everything. they put the car on the dyno again and it came up to 502. 73 hp and 403. 87 ft lbs. They told me this was now a 10. 20 setup WITHOUT the nitrous (Speed Inc sprayed the car twice on the dyno for the original owner when they put the DSS motor in. heads. nitrous. etc. Other than those 2 times. the car was never sprayed again by me or the previous owner). I've only made 6 or 7 passes total on this car since I've had it. I drove it on the street more than anything and that was a local trip to lunch or something a couple times a month. Every spring I had the plugs and wires replaced and all the fluids flushed and replaced as well. Every time the car has been on the dyno (with the exception of the last time in March of this year). it was tuned by Bob Kurgan of Kurgan Motorsports. If you are familiar with built mustangs from the midwest. no explanation is necessary on who he is. Unfortunately. he has since moved his operation out of state so I had it tuned at another well known place called Straightline Performance in New Lenox. Illinois. The day after I picked it up from there. I moved to Las Vegas. I have not had the car on the track since October of 2010. Obviously I don't have the time to enjoy this car anymore so I'd rather sell it to someone who will. While it was at Straightline Performance. I had them install a wideband air/fuel gauge and coolant gauge where the radio previously was. I also had 2 Sparco seats that I wanted installed to give me more room in the car so they fabricated brackets and put them in. They cleaned it up. changed the oil and put it on the dyno. After they completed their end of the work. the dyno now shows 515 hp and 534 ft lbs which is where the car stands today. This car is a beast and is extremely clean. When you put a race trans in a car. the odometer stops on the dash but it continues to reflect the correct mileage if one was to connect a scanner or computer to it. As you can see in the pic. I put the 3 Speed TH400 automatic transmission in with 13. 47 miles on it. Like I said before. I drove this car on the street most of the time. It was local rides here and there so if I put 1. 00 miles on it in the last 6+ years that I've owned it. I'd be surprised. But I am going to call the car to have 1. 00 more miles on it from when I put the trans in it for listing purposes. I don't want to brand this car with bad mileage when that is not the case. If you are familiar with race transmissions. then you know exactly what I mean. The only things this car needs to be 100% are as follows:New Harness Seatbelts - The factory seatbelts are still there but with the new Sparco seats I just installed. they do not have a buckle for them to snap in to. So you are buying the car with no functioning seatbelts. New Front 8-Ply Tires - Just to show you how rarely I get to enjoy the car. the front tires have flat spots. They have over 80% tread left but flat spots are flat spots no matter how you look at it. You can feel them when you are driving. Shift Light Repair - The Autometer shift light on the steering column lights up when you start the car but does not light up at 6800 rpm when it is supposed to. Has to be sent to Autometer for repair or replaced. As you can see in the pictures. there is a lot on this vehicle that will probably need explaining (trans brake. line lock. nitrous switches. etc. ). Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. You will also see a picture of the bottom side of the front bumper and you can see very clearly. it is NOT scraped. I am very careful with my cars/motorcycles unless it was out of my control (rock chip. scratch. ding. etc. ). Do not assume anything that is not listed or pictured is included. But there are a few things that I either pulled off the car from the original owner's work. extra parts. unused parts. etc. that I will include in the sale of this vehicle (see pictures). Please Note. it Seems Like After they Painted the Roll Cage. it was NOT Completely Dried Yet. Therefore. there is White Paint on the Back of the Headrests as well as the Door Facing Portions of Both Original Front Seats.
