Description

Hello, p for Auction is my Special 1971 Convertible Mustang. It is in Amazingly Great Condition, or its age. It has been stored for 38 years in a good environment in Northern California. I say Special, ecause it was used in T.V. commercials for FORD, nd is pretty unique. I am pretty sure there is not another one like this one. I have the MARTY Report. It was originally a Demo car. It was originally ordered by the Sales Manager, ater the Dealership Owner, n the San Jose California area, nd then sold to his Niece. I am the second registered owner. This car has an almost ridiculous list of OPTIONS! Power Windows, st time for Mustangs in 1971, ver! The rare Deluxe RIM BLOW horn, ILT wheel, tock Magnum 500's with new GOODYEAR F60-15 PolyGlass tires. The full instrumentation group, ith Tachometer, nd in dash Super Charger Boost gauge, he Convenience Group, he Appearance Group, he Decor Group, he Protection Group, he Drag Pack Suspension, he heavy duty C-6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic Automatic transmission, nbsp;functioning RAM AIR hood, inted windows, nbsp;SelectAire Air Conditioning, t's cold, converted to the required R-134 gas), nterior Console, ower Front Disk Brakes, ower Steering, NTERMITTENT windshield wipers! Correct CIBIE Driving lights, nd CIBIE Fog lights, ith correct interior switches, he Stereo A.M. 8 track works, nd comes with a 8 track tape. I am still finding things out on this car.The motor, ransmission, nd PAXTON Super Charger were rebuilt about 60 miles ago. I am looking to taking it to the American Graffiti Cruise, o maybe more miles soon. The motor was rebuilt to the Boss 351 Spec.s, nbsp;with10.5:1 compression,(with theexception of a Competition Full Roller Cam shaft and Stainless Steel Rocker arms, sed as an alternative to the solid lifter cam. Oil break in additives are not what they used to be). The correct valve seats for modern fuel were installed as well. Now, he stock 2 1/4" exhaust was rusty, nd it was replaced with 2 1/2" Stainless Steel pipes and the Magniflow pretty close to stock looking Stainless Steel Mufflers. The exhaust tips are not extensions, hat is the size of the pipes up to the manifolds. The motor has the rare Ford Factory Aluminum intake manifold, nd the correct Dual Point Distributor. ALL NUMBERS are MATCHING, n everything. The assembly paint markings are still visible on many components, rive Shaft, hrottle linkage, heels, tc. This car is equipped with a factory Rev Limiter, hich is usually found only on manual transmissions, nd is fully operational. The convertible top was showing wear, nd was replaced with the Heavy Duty Canvass type, ypical to Mercedes and B.M.W. and with a Glass "Backlite" rear window. Power top. The rare and original, nflatable Compact Spare Tire, never used), long with the air filler canister, nbsp;are all included and in excellent condition. This car needs nothing, ut to be shown, nd enjoyed. OK, do not like the look of the stock tail lights. I have had a sheet metal overlay made to cover the original, nd operating, ail lights, hat uses the California Special style sequential tail lights, L.E.D. for low profile). It is easily removable for the stock look. I have also had installed the Shelby type roll bar. The original side interior covers come with the car, f the roll bar is removed. The interior is in excellent original condition, ncluding original carpet and factory floor mats that came with the car. The lower drivers seat was re-stitched on a seam, nd a new coat of correct interior color dye was applied to freshen it up. Looks like new. This car is fully documented, ith a complete history. I have a notarized statement from the first owner, ith the Build Sheet, nd receipts. Don't let this one get away! You will not likely get another chance to aquire such an excellent example of an American Muscle car. This is one of the fastest, nd rare, ully optioned, riginal Mustangs, ver. No accidents. Not rusted out. Not repainted. Thanks to DUKE University Library for tracking down what the Decals in the drivers window mean. Good Luck, hank You for looking, lease ask questions below, r call Mark 209.613.0092 with any questions. Get yourself a Really COOL, ad-Ass Car! Happy Bidding!

OK, er request, have added pictures of the inside of the trunk, nd the lid. The hood also has a light. The bag for the boot is also included. I removed the carpet so everything was taken out, nd is not bolted down. Also, ncluded pictures of underneath the car. The original shocks have been replaced with KYB gas shocks, ainted to look stock. Better handling... I have original shocks. Its in storage, am sorry, 've been driving it some, nd I have not cleaned underneath it. And, astly, ictures showing how the Paxton is hooked up with Ram Air. Air thru hood scoop, nto filter, ut to Paxton compressor, ack from Paxton to underneath the air filter, nd in to the carb. Thanks again. What's next? A video of a burn out? OK, need to add some clarifacations: There IS a belt on the Paxton, t does work. Ebay will not allow any more pictures, r to replace any, o I can send pictures of the drive belt on the Paxton thru messaging. Drag Pack suspension was miss read by me from the option book. It is a "Competition Suspension", hich is staggered rear shocks, eavy duty front and rear springs, eavier front and rear stabilizer bars. The Drag Pack Axle is 429 only. Actual mileage is 74,000, ot 70,000, s seen in the pictures. Thank you for all of the responses! Mark
