Up for sale is a completely custom 1953 ford f100. started with a very solid cab and transplanted it onto a reworked and undercoated Dakota frame. The frame swap makes this machine ride like a new age vehicle with disk front brakes and rack and pinion steering. Then we mounted a bed with battery, uel cell, nd holly blue fuel pump under beautiful torch finishedtongueand groove bed floor. Now when it comes to the front we spent hours upon hours to make this custom one of a kind sliding tilt front end. We took a 55 f100 front clip welded to make it one piece then built channels and rollers which allow the front end to roll forward nine inches then tilt. This feature is definitely an attention getter no matter where it goes. We also installed a complete new wire harness from speedway and added weather pack connectors at front to allow all headlight wires to stay in place if you want to remove the whole front end. The interior has a newly recovered seat with cream alligator skin vinyl. The dash has a gloss top finish in off white with the rest being a textured finished gray. The instrument panel consist of an oil pressure gauge, ater temp gauge, nd a tom tom which has speedometer and maps. the mounting plate has been blued around the edges with the torch to give it a unique look not to mention the gps unit really adds the technology look to the old truck. We also installed a tall b&m shifter to the custom trans tunnel for a great shifter feel. we modified the factor steering wheel and column to the rack and pinion to give you that old big wheel feel. Now when it comes to the engine we started with a one piece 350 block installed a new crank, lat top pistons, nd pink rods. Used a mildon high volume oil pump also installed new double roller timing chain connected to a comp MUTHER THUMPR cam. Installed freshly worked double hump heads with new valves. Topped with edelbrock rpm air gap intake and a new holley 750 vacuum secondary carb. Used an msd street fire distributor. All the exhaust exits out the sides through 3 inch pipe flowmaster super 10's with an h pipe. For cooling system we went with an aluminum radiator and electric pusher fan with automatic temperature control. All this is backed by a rebuilt 700r4 transmission.
This truck is a head turner wherever you go. This truck looks and sounds amazing and that's the way it drives.
