This stunning all steel 1953 Ford F100 street rod pick up has been built into one beautiful show piece. The body is arrow straight all over with an excellent fit and finish. Both doors open and close with ease and the hood couldn't fit any better. The hood is operated by two power hydraulic cylinders and also has an emergency release cable under the dash on the passenger side. The two stage black paint looks amazing with a deep high gloss finish and really shows off how nice the body is. The interior looks great as well with all new upholstery and the dash has had all new Omega Kustom gauges installed along with cold air conditioning and electric wipers. The drive train for this truck consist of a GM 350 V8 topped with an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb, EI distributor and headers with flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic and the rear axle is a chevy 10 bolt with a 3.08 gear ratio. The F100 also received a much smoother ride via a Camaro sub-frame which not only greatly improved the handling characteristics of the truck but it is now equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. Wheels are 17" chrome American Racing. This is an exceptionally tight truck on the road that is smooth and sound.
