1965 Ford Mustang - Restored - With T-5 (5 Speed Manual)

"Sally" as the kids named her was restored over about a ten year period by the previous owner. The restoration was completed about 3-years ago (2012 time frame).

The car looks great and has many new parts and is ready to drive. It's not a 'show quality' car but rather a great shape daily driver type of car. Specs for Sally based upon the Mustang factory codes are as follows:

The car contains numerous new parts including: gas tank, rakes (master cylinder, ines, rums), ires, uel system (pump, ines, ank), uspension components (tire rods, hocks), nterior (foam, eat covers, eadliner), xhaust (manifold, ipes, uffler), lugs, ires, istributor......

The car looks and runs great. It has a rebuilt 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder with a re-manufactured T-5 (5-speed) transmission. The car originally came with a 3-speed manual so the transmission is not original. The receipt for the transmission alone was $2,169 with all the parts (e.g., ressure plate, lutch set, ross members, arness).

Although not perfect, he car runs well for being 50-years old. There are a couple of items that the car needs but I don't consider these major. For example -- chrome side trim piece missing from windshield (passenger side) and the oil pressure and fuel gauges do not work (they don't move - oil pressure reads zero all the time, uel read full). The gauges are after-market (Warner) that fit over where the original ones went so it is clean looking.
