This 1970 Ford Maverick is a true survivor car. What you see is what you get. This is the first year of Fords way of making a cheap but fun muscle car. I have had this car for about 3 years now. I have had a lot of complements on this car just driving around town and in car shows. Not having time or space for this car is forcing the sale of it. When I purchased this car I received the original sales receipt from the dealer in Idaho. As well as the protect-o plate and owners manual. This car was bought in Idaho and then spent its later years in Montana. This is a cancer free car. Montana's high desert environment has a way of preserving cars. The cars paint is Fords champagne color. It is original so again it is oxidized and has chips in it. The front lower valance has a dent in it. The driver side door has a crease in the middle of it and there is mild damage on the front passenger side fender. All the body flaws were there when I bought it. The interior is clean. The driver side front seat has been repaired. Now the front passenger side is staring to tear. The backseats look like new and so does the headliner. The dash pad has a few cracks in it. Straight 6/200ci engine runs great. Car has been serviced to be a daily driver. I installed pertronix's electronic ignition, long with new plugs and wires. I also bought a new alternator and water pump and had those installed. The transmission is a 3 speed manual. I believe it was a 3-speed on the tree and was moved to the floor. It has newer exhaust. Over all its a great car that once done will run with the best of them!
