This is a very special Mustang that carries on the great Ford Racing traditions. This Mustang has been made from the ground up from the Ford Racing division to be a competition race car. It is ready for competition in SCCA GT-S and NASA American Iron classes.

It has been widely thought that there were 50 Boss 302S built for 2014. I personally spoke with John at Watson Racing, ho built the cars for Ford. He explained that 50 were planned but Ford pulled the plug on the last 10 because of the lack orders. Therefore, he 2014 models are a bit more rare!

The VIN showing in this listing is only being used so eBay would accept this listing since the Boss 302S does not come with the usual 17 digit VIN. You can see a photo of the plate that says 'BOSS302S1407'. That plate shows that our car is the #7 Boss 302S built in 2014. Please disregard the information anywhere in this listing that refers to a stock production Mustang.
The BBS Wheel Package is an optional item that you can purchase with the Boss 302S for an additional $2100, hich includes 4 wheels. There is a photo of a wheel below. They are designed and produced by BBS exclusively for Ford Racing. They are 18"x10.5" and weigh 20.8 lbs each, hich is ultra light for a wheel. These wheels save nearly 40lbs. of rotating mass.
This race car is designed to be a true production race car. That means it is ready to race right off the showroom floor. Parts can be easily obtained through Ford Racing or your local Speed Shop. Put all those components together and you have the ability to race against vehicles that can be 2 or 3 times as expensive and not be giving up anything on performance. The Ford Racing division has a long and prestigious legacy that continues to this day. The Boss 302S was originally produced between 1969 and 1970 and then reintroduced in 2011. Since its reintroduction, he model won numerous championships and in 2011, t tied the record set in 1970 for race wins by the same Mustang driver in a professional production based series at 5 wins.
