Thunderbird by Ford built 2002 Hardtop and Convertable in like new Condition

This is a 2002 Ford ThunderbirdHardtop or Convertible in absolute beautiful condition. It was introduced late and people were paying up to $15,000 just to get on the dealer's list to buy one, o I heard.Throw your NADA and Blue Book out when looking at any of these, t's already a classic and the book prices are several hundred dollars low on allyears, 002-2004 and 2005, he years this car was made. The year 2005 is seperated from the others as so few were produced its hardly worth mentioning. In 2005 there were a couple thosand produced. Don't get scammed. These are not anniversary editions and there is nothing special about them. There was500 made that are anniversary editions thatFord gave to "special" people and never were available to the public. There are other namesassociated with some Thunderbirds but those are strictly advertisements and add no value to the car. Ford made this retro luxury sports car in honor of the original 2 seater Thunderbirds made between 1955 and1957. Back in the50's the Thunderbird was the car toown. It was a Corvette killer and everyone wanted the Thunderbird not the Corvette. Ford had a great thing going, ut as usual ruined the Thunderbird by turning it into a 4 seater family car that eventually just faded away. The 2002-2004 one's are in honor of the 2 seater older 50's models but with all the modern amenties we are used to in today's cars.

Ford made this carto be a Gentelmen's luxury sports car to honor the original 1950'sThunderbird's. It was not made to compete with the high horse power very expensive sports cars produced back in the 2000's. If you can picture this, his car was made more for the executive gentlemen type, ressed up,who wanted to take his wife or girl friend to high class dinner in a luxury 2 seater sports car and have it valet parked. There are many people whing that it is too slow. They say it needed a bigger engine than the 262 hp one it came with. If you thinkFord should have come out with a car in direct competition to the Corvette you would be right about the bigger engine. Ford has no intention of competing with car's twice the MSRP price. This car is really made for cruising and just generally having a good time with the top down and enjoying the ride. The 262 Jag based engine may be small to some but it has no problem smartly getting this car moving well over 100mph. While you are still thinking about your dinner date and wondering if you are breaking the speed laws it is up past 100mph and still going before you know it. I was in the HOV lane talking to my passanger really not paying any attention to my speed and when I looked down I was doing 125mph and didn't even know it. Its a smooth cruiser that can hit some very fast speeds rather quickly. The car is really made for FUN and to have a good time with it.

When the weather is rightit really is nice to put the top down and take a ride to no where. This specific car has been completely checked out and all mechanicals are in great shape. It just had an oil change about 200 miles ago. It has always been garaged and sits in mine for days until I am in the mood to take a nice trip. At least 50% of the time when I am parked someone stops by to tell me they love the car or they talk a long time about this car and the one's he remember's from the 1950's. It attracts a lot of attention both on and off the road. As I said it's just a pleasant fun car to drive. As the old song goes " she had fun, un, un until daddy took theT'Birdaway". Well I am old enough to be daddy and its my turn to have some fun.

This car is loaded with all the options the Lincoln hadand they all work. Some of the major options are the power top, lectric adjustable seats, ual climate control, ower windows and locks, ruise control and moveable steering wheel, he drivers seat adjusts to let you out easy and when you get ingoes back to it original setting, ower mirrors, M/FM/CD player and a few I am sure I missed. It comes with the hard top, t's stand, he hard boot, ull size spare and probablysome other items I missed. If you want to have fun and enjoy the ride, id, s this well kept, ristine car is for you. If your goal is to race on the streetor track and have the fastest car you can buy this is not the one for you.There are getting fewer and fewer in number everyday and therearen't anymore being made. That's one reason its going up in price and the price books are behind the curve on this one. Bid now while they are still some left like this one. It's in showroom condition. As I said it's a FUN car and will put a smile on your face as you go down the road or just talk to people about it. I have had a blast with it and hate to have to sell it.
