1990 Ford Mustang ASC McLaren Convertible

Very Rare 1990 ASC McLaren Mustang Convertible.ASC only built 65 McLaren Mustangs in 1990. Of the 65 cars built only 5 had the five speed manual. This is the onlyRed 5 speed convertible built. Please note this is not a restoration it is all original except for fluids, ilters, attery and tires. It is in absolute as new condition. I have owned the car since new and have only put 3,163 miles on it. It has never had any damage of any kind and is as close to brand new as possible. The car still runs and drives as new.I am a car collector and it has always been stored in my climate controlled building since new. It has an interesting history as it never saw a dealership but was delivered to me straight from ASC. In 1989the chairman of ASC was looking for a 1968 Sunroof Cougar to add to his collection and I had the car he was looking for. I made a deal to trade my car for a new 1990 McLaren Mustang that they would custom build for me. When the car was finished they delivered it to me and picked up the Cougar. I ordered the car with all the options including the Whistler radar detector and Keyless entry. It also has the power group with power windows, ower locks, ual electric mirrors, ruise and the premium sound system which also came with the speakers on the back shelf. The drive train is the 5.0 GT engine with traction lock rear. Of course it has power rack and pinion steering, isc brakes and every other option that Ford had then. By the way, he Cougar is on display at the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn. I have everything from the original window sticker to all books, eys and all the ASC documentationthat came with the car. I have the production figures for all 65 cars as well. I also have photos of the car coming off the truck and other memorabilia from magazines etc.If you want the best this is it. Basically they took new 5.0 mustangs and made them a much nicer two seat convertible with a Mercedes style convertible top. If you look at the photos of the other mustangs for sale you can see all the differences in the exterior and interiors.
