Up for auction is a nice clean 1997 Ford Explorer. We bought this car after my wife had an accident and we needed to replace her car. She was having a hard time picking a new car, o I bought this one to fill the gap. It came from the township code enforcement office. We have replaced this car with a new one, nd are ready to let this car move on to the next owner. The good things are it was well maintained by the township, he officer who drove this car was a little non smoking person, o the seat has next to no wear and the rear of the truck was never used. The bad things are the rear tailgate was never opened and the tabs for the tension cylinders have rusted off, he seat air bag sensor does not engage all the time, y wife is under 100 lbs and may be the cause or the sensor under the seat may be bad. I unplugged the sensor and plugged it back in and that reset it for a while but the light is back on. The transmission skips going into second every once and a while. I talked to my mechanic about this and he said it could be the valve body gasket, ut I did not put the car in to have that done, e told me it would cost around $100. It has not skipped in a couple of weeks and I was going to have it done when the inspection was due, ut we have a new car and I will leave it up to you. All in all it is a nice clean 4 wheel drive truck that needs its new home. Happy Bidding
