This car was manufactured new on July 1 1964 less than a month from the sale of the first 4V 289 V8 car. It was first sold in San Jose California.It is in Awesome Original shape and is a very tight and solid DRYWestern car which NEVER fails to turn heads. This car shows and runs very well. The vehicle has a strong, RIGINAL code "D" 289 CID 4V V8 Motor in it with 210 HP. It has the rebuilt Original 4-Barrel carb and it is running very well. It sounds throaty too with the dual exhaust. I can tell you I had to really punch it one time to merge into traffic and it smoked all the way through 1st and chirped 2nd WOW I was impressed. The engine is backed by a smooth, RIGINAL code "5" 4-Speed Manual transmission which also functions very well. The ALL Original code "86" Black Crinkle Vinyl Interior is in great shape and includes nice ORIGINAL front bucket seats with an ORIGINAL 4-speed floor mounted shifter, ice ORIGINAL rear bench seat, ice ORIGINAL door panels, ice ORIGINAL dash and nice ORIGINAL dash pad, ice ORIGINAL steering wheel, ice ORIGINAL headliner and nice ORIGINAL carpeting. In my opinion your not going to find a nicer ALL ORIGINAL interior than the one this car has, NBELIEVABLE! This is one beautiful car. This Mustang is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Pony has outstanding looks and smooth power as well! It is nicely equipped including, ACTORY original working AM radio, riginal Front speaker, hrome exterior rear view mirror, actory seat belts and factory back up lights, ood heater and De-froster, orking wipers, ll orginal gauges work,has added aftermarket oil pressure and AMP gaugesand dual exhaust. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, ny of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension is in nice working order as well as the electrical system. This Ford is a super investment opportunity and it is priced right! This vehicle is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find original collector Mustang. The code "3" Poppy Red (Orange) finish on the vehicle is BEAUTIFUL as you can see in the photographs above and below with a few very small imperfections and touch-ups and it is polished and looks GREAT as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of spots the paint is getting a little thin where someone over-buffed this car(edges by rear taillights) shown in pics. The previous owner told me several times that this car has never been in an accident and as you can see the date codes on the fenders reflect that, nd rear ¼ are all original. The only non original thing about this car is they took off the ford letters from the front of the hood. Check out the trunk area that is very clean and is all original with original trunk mat, showed pictures of it lifted up you can see the original glue, t has it’s original jack, ug wrench, nd the full sized spare tire. The original Ford Mustang chrome hubcaps are in great condition and are mounted on the original wheels with near new Goodyear whitewall radial tires. Nice ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers and grill. The car is an outstanding cruiser or driver for your local cruise night or show-n-shine! Nothing needed on this one to drive away, n fact we drove it on the freeway and in heavy rush hour traffic! This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. The vehicle is very presentable with respect to the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and also included photos below. This is a nice solid Northwest vehicle and it has plenty of good looks as well! Look at the pictures of the ALL ORIGINAL floors, gain in my opinion your not going to find much nicer! Thereisn't even any dents under the car, his car has the nicest original undercarriage that I have EVER seen on a Mustang, e didn’t even wash it!!!
