With just 54. 67 miles on the clock. this car looks amazingly fresh today. Clearly someone has loved it from day one and the subtle charcoal gray paint gives the car a low-profile personality that's critical for staying out of trouble in a Mustang. Fit and finish on these late-model Mustangs is excellent and the paint has an awesome shine that looks great even if you haven't had time to wash it in a few days. The look is unmistakably Mustang. with a bulging hood and California Special chin spoiler and a deck lid spoiler that doesn't interrupt the sleek fastback profile. You also get familiar three-element taillights with sequential flashing. which technically wasn't a Mustang thing. but they sure wear it well. just like the fog lamps in the grille up front. There are very few signs of use on this well-maintained car. with nice rocker panels. a chin spoiler that hasn't been abused by parking curbs. and a great finish that will be a pleasure to wash and wax on a Saturday afternoon. Black leather seats are in excellent condition. too. with great support and a stylish white stripe down the centers. Aside from some very minor stretching on the driver's lower seat cushion. the seats are in almost new condition. with the back seat looking untouched. Crisp door panels and a matching center console also look showroom-ready. with the only noticeable modification being the Hurst shifter with a cue ball knob for the 6-speed manual gearbox. And this isn't like the old days. this Mustang comes loaded with ice cold A/C. power windows and locks with keyless entry. a full array of gauges. highly adjustable seats. and the best sounding stereo ever fitted to a Mustang. Of course. there's also a leather-wrapped steering wheel and lots of rather elegant stitching that makes the car seem far more expensive than it is. Heck. there's even a reasonably-sized trunk!But the real reason you're going to love this GT is under the hood. where you'll find the Coyote V8. With four cams. 32 valves. and more than 400 horsepower. it was built for about whatever you want it to do. It burbles with a familiar sound. but the way it revs and pulls to redline is unlike any pushrod engine and at full song. the exhaust note will give you chills. It's completely stock. but with this much performance. do you really need upgrades? The six-speed is as slick shifting as any on the market. and it was ordered new with 3. 55 gears out back. so it feels punchy around town. The lone performance upgrades are a set of White Line Performance sway bars and a matching strut tower brace up in the engine bay. The chassis doesn't look like it's ever seen rain. let alone anything more inclement. and big disc brakes live behind gorgeous 18-inch alloys with 245/45/18 Continental performance radials.
