Texas Classic Cars Of Dallas is proud to showcase this nice example of a "Eleanor Mustang", 1968 Mustang Eleanor Clone.Even though it started as a ’68 Mustang coupe, hanks to an extensive build, oday this Mustang sits as a very nice example of the ’67 Shelby known as Eleanor. If you’ve seen or heard of the movie, ou will instantly recognize how alike this vehicle is. It is a coupe unlike the original fastback version, ut none the less, t's a nice example. These Eleanor creations don’t last long in any showroom, o if you are in the market for a ’67 GT500,that you can enjoy, hen this is the car for you.
Most muscle car enthusiasts credit Carroll Shelby with introducing some of the coolest and most aggressive Mustangs ever created; so it’s only natural that the original Eleanor bodywork would be based on his designs. Lift the fiberglass hood on this awesome ride and you’ll find a mean and healthy sounding 302ci Ford Engine that was built to produce hp. Mounted to that powerful 302 is a smooth shifting 4- speed transmission for optimum fun and Driver experience.Put this ’68 Eleanor on a lift and you’ll see how the undercarriage of the car received plenty of upgrades & how clean it is.Take a look inside the car and you’ll find a freshly redone vinyl interior which looks crisp and well done. To ride comfortabl, ew bucket seats. Below those seats, ew black carpet and Cobra floor mats, nd a great looking Hurst shifter which is topped with a correct “Go Baby Go” button. If you’re looking for an instantly recognizable classic that is fast and an absolute blast to driv, ere’s the one to take home.
This is not an actual Carroll Shelby autograph.
