Exceptionally nice 1965 Ford Mustang coupe

289 V8 with factory vinyl top option

I have been a member of the Mustang Club of America since 2004. One of my cars won a Grand National title in Youngstown, hio at the Grand National event in 2005. I am assisting a good friend in selling his personal vehicle which is incredible!

DETAILS:

1965 Coupe

  • 289 V8 Coupe
  • Upgraded to 4 wheel disc brake. Used Ford disc brakes spindles for the front and has a 9 in 4:11 disc brake rear end.
  • Automatic with 350 RPM stall
  • Clear title in hand (Ohio title)
  • Car was 95% restored in 2005 including a re-built motor AND paint.
  • Car was been garage kept since 2005.
  • All Ford sheet metal used in restoration except for 2 parts: Rear valance is a reproduction and the hood is a Ford "tooling" hood
  • Items that do still need completed:

1) Under dash wiring harness (original one is still in the car but it has been cut and spliced.)

2) Plumb rear brakes (brakes are on the rear of the car) Line is from the master cylinder back....needs attached near axle and plumbed out to each caliber.

3) Heater box (I do have some parts)


  • PLEASE.......NO trades and NO lowball offers. This is a great car at a solid price. My friend has decided to pursue other interests and just not have time to finish the car to 100% or show the car. He is NOT in a financial bind and does not need to sell this car!
