2001 Bondurant Mustang Cobra School Car

It's the real deal, Roush prepared Bondurant Race Car! This car is No. 79 - 2001 Roush / Bondurant Mustang GT is one of the few cars that were sold to the public by the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, Z where it was used as an instructional car for various racing courses. This car is great for track-days, ime trials, nd autocrosses.

Documentation includes the six-page build sheet initialed step-by-step by the Roush Industries fabricators, he new car check-in at Bondurant, nd finally all of the current maintenance records.

Approximately 9K miles. This 2001 Mustang GT body in white car was shipped to Roush Racing to be prepared for Bondurant Racing. The car still has all the original Bondurant orange paint. Original value when new was approximately fifty-five thousand dollars.

When Bondurant switched to GM, hese few remaining cars slowly made their way to market- (all previous models were taken back to FOMOCO, valuated for wear, nd then crushed.)

During the changeover, ustomers sometimes got GM, nd sometimes Mustangs. Only the very few last surviving Mustangs were sold to the public.

This Mustang is very clean and ready to hitthe track! Although you can get a North Carolina Title for it withlittle work, t is not street legal. This car is sold with a Bill of Sale as well as the Bondurant log book/records. I know it is not a turnkey CMC/American Iron car, ut it would not take too much work to turn into one.

This is a reliable track prepped car that has a great history that we are selling for $12,900.

Engine: 4.6 SOHC

Engine Modification includes:

Emission controls removed. Custom Bondurant engine calibration. Roush custom cooling system including Ford production 6.8L V-10 water pump, 995 SVT Mustang Cobra R radiator, engine driven fan with custom shroud and an 18" electric cooling fan. 1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R engine oil cooler. Battery relocated to trunk (encased) with external charge plug and master power switch. Borla Exhaust.

Driveline:

T-45 transmission. Carbon fiber blocker rings. Aluminum flywheel. Custom made LUK clutch. B&M Ripper short throw shifter. Custom steel driveshaft safety loop with seat mount reinforcements. Limited slip (Trac-Loc) rear end with Ford Racing 3.27 gears.

Fuel System:

1995 SVT Mustang Cobra R 22 gallon fuel cell with Roush custom stainless steel braided fuel lines (including return system) and billet fuel filter.

Suspension:

Front: Eibach 800lb per inch springs. Monroe struts with custom calibrations. Production 1.00" diameter solid sway bar. Modified alignment specs.

Rear: Eibach 350lb springs. Monroe shocks with custom calibration. Roush custom torque arm and Pan Hard bar.

Brakes:

Production SVT Mustang Cobra calipers and rotors (13" front / 11.65" rear). Performance Friction race compound pads. Roush custom front brake cooling ducts.

Interior:

Roush custom six-point rollcage (fitted behind dash and interior panels). Halon Fire dual suppression system (dual bottles - electronic control). Recaro SRD driver's seat with slider. Window net (driver and passenger). Simpson five-point quick-release harnesses (driver & passenger).

Exterior:

Original Bondurant School of High Performance Driving livery. Custom 17x8 Bondurant / American Racing wheels with Goodyear 245/45/17 tires
