1999 Bondurant Roush Cobra SVT Car #53.
These cars came from the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Chandler, Z. These cars were sent to Roush Racing to be race prepped for the Bondurant School. The car's features include the following:
Engine Specs:
SVT Mustang Cobra 4.6L 4V with 320 HP. Custom Bondurant engine calibration. Custom cooling system including production 6.8L V10 water pump, 001 SVT Mustang Cobra R radiator, ngine driven fan with custom shroud and an 18in. electric cooling fan. 2001 SVT Mustang Cobra R engine oil cooler. Battery located in the trunk in explosion-proof box with quick disconnect terminals and master switch.
Transmission / Drive train
SVT Mustang Cobra Tremec T- 45 5 speed with carbon fiber blocking rings. (Hand- assembled by Roush) B&M Ripper Shifter. Custom steel driveshaft with safety hoop. Production 3.55:1 axle ratio with limited slip.
Fuel System
22 Gallon Kevlar-Polycarbonate racing fuel cell. Custom stainless steel and braided fuel lines.
Front Suspension
Eibach 800lb per inch springs. Monroe struts with custom calibration. Production 1.10in. diameter hollow sway bar. Modified alignment settings. Camber 3.2 degrees negative. Caster 4.0 degrees positive. Toe 0.10 degrees negative.
Rear Suspension
Eibach 350lb per inch springs. Monroe struts with custom calibration. Monroe kicker shocks with custom calibration. Production 1.0in. diameter solid sway bar. Custom torque arm. Custom Pan hard Bar.

PBR Australia Magnesium Custom SVT Mustang Cobra calipers. Performance Friction 90 compound race brake pads. Custom brake cooling ducts.

All services records form Bondurant included. Currently 14K miles, nly run fully synthetic motor oil (Mobil 1), ust received new battery.
Please note that these were never sold in showrooms or dealer stock, hese were custom-ordered from Ford Motorsport specifically for Bondurant, hey were removed from the assembly lines and hand picked, lso having required additional spot-welds to strengthen the chassis. Then shipped to Roush for a complete dissassembly and rebuilt to Bondurant's specs. The Cobra still possess a full interior, ower steering, BS (with custom defeat switch), ower windows/locks, nd functional Air Conditioning. (AC system needs charge) 56 originally built.
