1966 Mustang 2+2 fastback with basically everything here except it needs major rust repair on the bottom of the car. This car sat on flat tires for around 30 years according to the guy I bought it from in Missouri. I decoded everything on the car and it was originally a Candy Apple red car and it was a 289 2 barrel car. It looks like the original engine is still in the car and it has what appears to be the original engine tag and you should be able to see it in the pictures. The car turns over and has spark but it doesn't seem to be getting fuel I would guess the carb needs work on it. This is a 3 speed car as you can see from the pictures. This car is unbelievable original, irtually everything looks original to me the glass, he interior, he engine the only problem is it was not stored well. The previous owner bought the car in 1980. This is very cheap with all the parts. You could buy a rust free coupe for 3K and and easily change everything over the roof, nterior, ngine and you would have a very cheap 66 fastback. You never find these fastbacks this complete. It has a great top and it has a clean, lear title it is just waiting for someone to work on it. The glass looks like it is in decent used condition the front windshield has a chip in itI checked 4 pieces of the glass and they are still the original Ford glass that came with the car so I would say all the glass is original. The car only shows 27,702 miles and I am guessing that is correct since it sat so long and was not driven very often. For sitting outside so long I cant believe how nice the interior is. However everything on the bottom of the car, he frame rails, he torque boxes and the floor and trunk drop offs need to be replaced so just expect all lower sheet metal needs replaced plus more as you can see from the pictures. The big plus for this car is everything is there that would normally be gone and the bad part is the bottom of the car is very rusty. I am starting the bid really, eally low with a buy it now which I think is very fair for this car but if someone hits the low starting price the BIN comes off and it will sell for whatever it goes to as a no reserve bid. I am also listing it locally on Craigs list so if I sell it locally no manner what it will come off ebay at that point so if you really want it the best way is to hit the BIN. Give me a call and I will answer any questions and help out. I wont take any pictures of the bottom of the car because I don't want to put it on the lift and I have already said everything down there needs to be replaced. Thanks Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722On Jun-24-16 at 09:18:06 PDT, eller added the following information:
This car is listed on Craigs list in Minneapolis if someone is interested for 8,800 dollars. This ad had a BIN but once the minimum bid was met ebay removed that. Good luck bidding. Kevin Manley. 612-275-8722
