This FR500 has the optional supercharged Super Cobra Jet 5.4 ( internally referred to by Ford Racing as the "Zoomy" engine) with an aluminum block and the C2 Automatic transmission. This engine and transmission were a $15,995 option on the 2010 Cobra Jet. This engine is the one that will run in the low 8 second bracket. The standard engine was the low horsepower iron block with a manual transmission. This racer features a special Cobra Jet embroidered interior with full Ford racing instruments, racing seat and shoulder harness, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, NHRA certified legal 8.50 chrome moly roll cage, 6 gallon "Stealth" fuel cell with Aeromotive pump, filter and fuel regulator, Weld Competition engraved and numbered wheels with light weight Hoosier front runners and rear racing slicks. The car includes Strange Engineering light weight four wheel disc brakes, Strange Engineering aluminum rear end with 4.11 gears and a Dynotech one piece drive shaft.The inside of the trunk has been autographed by the Ford Racing and assembly workers who were instrumental in building this race car. The car is not legal for the street, built as a race car only. There is no title. The CJ's were sold on a Ford dealers parts invoice only. The VIN in this ad was used for EBAY listing requirements only. The part # of this CJ is FR500CJ2 002. The odometer has registered only 5/10's of one mile.
