2008 Ford Mustang FR500 Cobra Jet Drag Car

Brand new, never raced or street driven. #19 of 50 Cobra Jets built to race stock eliminator and celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ford'a win at the 1968 Winternationals. There was only one color offered, white with a gray interior. The FR500 CJ features the 5.4 litre supercharged intercooled engine, 6 speed manual transmission, nine inch locking rear end with a 4:10 ratio, Bogart light weight aluminum wheels with Goodyear front runners and rear slicks. The chassis has a full roll cage, drive shaft safety loop, Ford Racing tachometer and gauges, special shifter with line lock button, custom Cobra Jet embroidered seats and RJ racing seat belts. The car includes the Ford Racing computer tool, special engine lift hooks, collectible Ford Racing Cobra Jet owners shirt, jacket and cap and all ordering and delivery documents. The inside of the trunk lid is autographed by the Ford Racing and Roush employee's who were instrumental in engineering and building the CJ'S. The car is not legal for the street, built as a race car only. There is no title, the cars were sold on a Ford dealers parts invoice. The VIN in this advertisement was used for EBAY'S listing requirements only. There is no VIN on the car, only the chassis rotation number FR500CJ019. This CJ has been stored in a heated and air conditioned Ford dealers private car collection. The car is in perfect as built condition and even retains the protective plastic on the carpet. The CJ was picked up at the Roush build facility so the odometer shows zero miles. The pictures of the car were taken last month and are not 7 years old.
