1997 Ford F-350 with NO RESERVE!
Up for bids is a 1997 Ford F-350 2WD dually with a 7.3l diesel and a utility body. The truck has 426,853 miles. The odometer reads 326,853 but when the truck initially hit 400,000 miles it rolled back to 300,000 (weird I know). I view myself as an honest person so I will disclose any issues that I'm aware of on the truck. The truck starts up with no issues and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts goodbut it does not want to go into overdrive. The fluid seems fine so I'm not sure if it could bea shift packin the transmission orthat the transmission is beginning to fail. The truck was hitin a parking lotcausing the rear end damage that is shownin the pictures. The left rear utility body doordoes not close but all of theotherutility body doors shut. The rear bumper is obviously dented and there is a large scrape on the right side of theutility body. The passenger side wing windowhas tape holding it shut so the air flow will not be too loud when you're driving. The interior is in rough shape (construction truck) and the driver'sseat does not recline back. The front core supporthas some rust so it will probably needto be replaced at some point. The truckhas various dents and ding so I suggest viewing the truck in person first.
Now for some of the pros. Ijust replacedboth of the batteries and resealed the windvisor ontop of the cab. The rear tires are in decent shape and the front tires have less than 6,000 miles on them (Michelins). The ladder rack on top of the utility bodyis in fair shape and was professionally made. The oil and oil filter have been religiously changed every 6,000 miles sincewe firstpurchased the truck. The air filter and fuel filter havebeen replaced every other oil change religiously.
Here's a list of some of the recent work besides the services.......
New front tires 3/7/16
Blower motor resistor and pigtail 2/3/16
Water pump, overflow bottle 1/15/16
Radius arm bushings 8/24/15
Rear brake lines 8/20/15
Front calipers and brake hoses 8/20/15
Emergency brake cables 8/17/15
Brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders 8/11/15
Brake booster 8/11/15
Right front ball joints and I-beam bushings 7/31/15
