1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 - Totally restored true R-code Boss 351. Original Medium Blue Metallic Boss with Argent stripes and black interior. This was a nice car that was driven into the restoration shop. and completely disassembled. The body is beautiful with original floors and trunk. This car still has it's original engine (rebuilt). original toploader trans (rebuilt). original 3. 91 N-rear (rebuilt). D1ZF-ZA Autolite 4300D spread bore carburetor (rebuilt and plated). DIZF distributor with correct and rebuilt/plated vacuum advance. original radiator (that's rare)…manifolds. heads…All parts and fasteners rebuilt. restored. replaced. or reconditioned. The shifter was sent to Hurst for a rebuild and replating. nbsp; wiper motor rebuilt and restamped . detailed trunk with re-plated locks and latches. and just much. much more. All brake (stainless brake lines) and suspension components. restored. replaced or reconditioned. Has a new Autolite battery with date code cables. Hoses are date coded with part numbers and with correct stripes. Original space saver and canister. Custom stamps were made for factory details. Factory markings were placed according to the built sheet (built sheet is rough but still there). I also have a Marti Report. The car was restored to be as original as possible. but in the last minutes. a set of plated Sanders headers with Flow Master mufflers were installed. Otherwise the exhaust is stock. including the H-pipe and tail pipes. But the rare and original exhaust manifolds come with the car. The interior is beautiful. Gages are reconditioned with new lenses and new bezels. Since it is a fairly low mileage car. much of the interior is still original. But it was left only original if it was in fantastic shape. If it was not in great shape. it was replaced. Unfortunately in the last few months. a small hole got poked in the headliner. (ouch). Otherwise the interior is beautiful. The car is always stored inside. This car is detailed inside and outside. underneath and in all the nooks. Is it flawless? I would not say that it is perfect since the restoration. Some parts were finished in the correct phosphate metal finish and such might have a light surface rust. That can easily be wiped down before a show. But it is still a stunning and gorgeous car. I encourage all bidders to give me a call and get more details. I know I missed good information and I would be happy to send other pictures. Please give me a call for details 215-620-8744.
