2004 Saleen S281 SC MustangThe only other mod is an additional pulley. It's visible in the engine bay pictures (just down and towards the driver side of the supercharger pulley), this was to shorten the lag of the supercharger. The coolant system for the supercharger does have a tendency to overheat when driven in excess of 4 hours on hot Southern California days. The entire system was rebuilt (new hoses, heat exchanger, etc) when the battery was relocated to the trunk, except for the support pump. No issues with the coolant system supporting the motor.
There is some paint damage to the front fascia (front lower bumper), I would attribute these to normal driving conditions. The very front of the hood also has some paint chips from rocks, there are probably a half dozen of these all about the size of half a pencil eraser.
Car history.I bought the car in 2009 with 31,000 miles, off an used car lot in Southern California. The previous own traded the car in towards a new Maserati, I can only assume that I'm the second owner of the car. I've had the car ever since, spending the majority of the time covered in a garage as I only drive it on the weekends.
