FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER. AND I CAN SELL IT AT ANY TIME. I CAN SPEAK ON THE PHONE IF YOU SEND YOUR NUMBER. 1956 FORD BIG JOB C750 COE TRUCKNOTE: If you are not interested in keeping this a tandems and are putting it on a newer chassis. I can remove the tandem axles and put a lightweight axle on it for transportation. It will be lighter then. and narrower. I can shorten it too if your not using the frame. If you are going to use it as a tandem. I can remove the outside wheels to narrow it for shipping and strap them to the frame. There are a lot of creative ways people have restored these trucks. They put flatbeds. ramp bodies. rollbacks. campers. and pickup boxes on them. Regular 8-9' stepside boxes from the era look great. I can help you find a box but they are not too difficult to build and reproductions are actually made. All the parts are sold and you can modify them easily if you want longer or taller box sides. You can also get new tailgates. and fenders. I've seen custom crew cabs built out of these coe trucks suburbans/panels too. There are a couple pics of panels/deliveries that are really cool. I like the red coe pickup with flames the best and I can see this one built like that. If that trucks not bad a#$. I don't know what is. I have a picture link with many more pics of this truck I can send including undercarriage photos. This truck has a really cool gauge panel. reminiscent of cars from the era. I have experience shipping vehicles and can help with that process and can help load it. Clear title on its way. Processing with the dmv now. Located in Eureka Montana. I can email a link with more pics. just ask. MECHANICALThis truck has a factory Y-block v8. I'm not sure of the exact displacement. but it's most likely a 292. 312. or a lincoln 302 y-block. Lincoln motors were put in some big trucks. The previous owner said it ran. but carb was taken off for rebuild and never put back on. The carburetor is included. It turns over easily. but feels to still have compression. This truck has POWER STEERING. which is a nice bonus. I know many buyers are going to put this on a newer drivetrain but with the power steering I don't think it would be too difficult to drive. The truck has a 5-speed manual transmission. with 2-speed rearend. Mechanically. it is complete. Rolls and steers fine. Tranny and clutch work and hold it in gear. The truck has a PTO on the tranny. BODYThe body on the coe is in good shape. especially for a HD truck this old. It is straight for the most part. and the rust is minor. Both cab corners have minor exterior skin rust. A bodyman could patch these very easily with sheetmetal. but pickup patch corners are probably the same. The drivers door has rust in the outer skin. down low. The passenger door does not. Small spot of rust on the passenger front fender but it's small and minor and is an easy fix. Thats the only rust. The body is really straight for the most part but the drivers door is bent up a bit. It's not major and a bodyman can fix it or find another door. The door still closes. Window still rolls up. The floors. frame. hood. fenders. steps. jams. roof. all look clean besides whats listed. No large dents. Passenger door and hood close fine. Windshield has a crack on the passenger side. Couple chips too but it's definitely usable. I'm sure pickup windshields are most likely the same and I know they are reproduced. ENGINE COVER IS INCLUDED. INTERIORThe interior in this is dryer and cleaner than most of these old trucks I've seen. Many times. it looks like a variety of animals have habitated these old trucks. This truck is dry and somewhat clean and doesn't stink. Wiring looks usable. The trucks looks to have been used until the last few years. Gauge cluster is really neat. Gauges are all in it. Cool vintage tachometer and cb! also a cool air pressure gauge. You could probably use the interior as-is with a seatcover if your going low budget. Thanks. and happy bidding. Sold as-is .
