1970 Ford Boss 302 Mustang

This is a very rare Boss Mustang that went through a complete rotisserie restoration around 12 years ago and was freshened up in 2010 including the motor and tranny. There are less than 400 miles on the motor. This red fastback is powered by 302 V8 4BBL with 4-speed Topload transmission, dual exhaust, posi and 9” rear 3:50. It is immaculate inside and out. Options include power brakes, original radio with 8-track player, tachometer, factory console, front and rear spoilers, color key racing mirrors and Magnum 500 wheels. The body has 97K original miles. Documentation includes the factory invoice, Marti Report and a binder of additional paperwork.

In 1999, it was invited by Ford Motor Company to share the stage with the ’99 Mustang. It competed in Concours division and won 3 golds at national shows and 2 golds at Grand Nationals before it was retired. In April 2004 it won the Concours Gold at the 40th Anniversary of the Mustang in Nashville TN. It has also competed in SAAC and MCA. It is owned by a private party and has been stored in a climate controlled garage, mostly trailered and rarely driven.
