This project was completed in 2010. It is a chopped 1950 Ford F1 cab sitting on an Chevrolet S10 Frame and running gear. It has a Chevrolet350 engineand turbo 350 transmission. The stock 1950 bed was narrowed and shortened to fit this frame. No original tail gate. The radiator support is from a 1957 Chevroletalong with the 1957 style radiator. The grille came off an Oliver Tractor. The electrical system is Haywire. The car is titled as a 1950 Ford F1, current tags and ready to drive. No windows are in the car except the windshield. mo wiper motor has been installed. The headers are hand made and there is a two bolt flange capped off on the back side of each of the cones for running exhaust out the back of you wanted to cap off the header. The car builds a lot of rpm at 55 miles per hour. The ring and pinion int he differentialshould be changedwhich most rear end shops will do for 400-600 dollars. The seat was reupholstered and removed for an S10. The engine was removed form a stock GM Truck with nothing added except the intakeand carburetor. I start the car periodically and have driven it once in the past two years and this is the sole reason for selling it. I have not the time to enjoy it. It would be an excellent platform for someonethat wanted to build a hot engine and then deliver a worthy paint job to the car. Winning bidder agrees to send a $1000.00 non refundable deposit to the seller after auction closes. The buyer also agreesto arrange for and pay for transportation charges to the buyer.
