1940 Ford Deluxe. complete frame off rebuild. All metal car, no rust. Engine 8BA complete rebuild, bored, stroked, very mild cam. Cooling system uses truck water pumps. Edelbrock heads, and intake manifold. 94 carbs just rebuilt. Mallory dual point dist. Fenton Headers. Three speed transmission and Columbia 2 speed rear end, works like new. 12 volt elect system, elect cooling fan on front of new Walker radiator. All windows are tinted and roll up and down like silk. Doors shut with a nice thud and heavy duty insulation in them, whole car is insulated, inside car fire wall extra insulated. Suspension front 4" drop axle with F100 backing plates, with 64 F100 shoes with self-adjusters, new tube shocks and 5/8 sway bar. Rear suspension 3 1/2 lowered with new tube shocks, 5/8 sway bar, new brake shoes and new drums. Marty, nine one three four eight six seven four seven one. I'm not selling this 40 because I have to or need the money, I'm going to build another street rod and don't have room for two cars. Please don't make ridiculous low bids like the three very low bids I have received, they were insulting !!This car cost $40,000.00 to build and you won't find a nicer 40 deluxe four door. I have been ask does the paint look as good in person as the pictures show ? Yes. There was no corners cut to build this car, it was built correctly. Has original radio that works ! You will see in one of the interior picture's setting on top of the heater a transformer that converts 12v to 6v . This supply's 6 volts to the dash gauges, heater blower motor, radio and windshield wiper motor. The transformer has a cooling fan on top of it to keep it cool, transformer voltage goes to a 6 volt fuse box than supplies the above 6 volt requirements. Under dash has separate 12 volt fuse box. Both fuse boxes are brand new. Fuel pump is by the fuel tank and is a new 12 volt pump. All bulbs in car ( head lights, tail light turn signals, brake ligh, dash lights and interior lights ) are 12 volt. Tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals are LED lights.

The picture of the red steelies are 15x7x 5.5 they will come with the car. The tires do not come with the car I gave them to my friend ! :( The wheels on the car now are the same size. The car has a nice stance, bottom of rear bumper is 14" off the ground and the front bumper is 10" off the ground. The floor pan is original with no rust or sections replaced, the tool kit well in the trunk is original and no rust. The fuel tank is new. The car was built five years ago. It drives nice straight down the road and corners nice and flat with the 5/8 " sway bars and tube shocks front and back. The car is very quiet and no rattles.

The car runs cool in traffic, the radiator elect cooling fan is on a temp control switch and has a manual switch also to turn it on.
