1998 F150 XLT 4x4, 6-1/2' Bed

THE GOOD - The body overall in pretty good condition. Rust on bottom frame but NOT structural. Truck passed inspection a year ago after patching up exterior rust with sheet metal. It hauled 6x10 cargo trailer. Truck ran and pulled powerfully up until it lost power Spring 2017 for unknown reason. All interior and exterior lights & electrical including cd changer and radio in working order.
Truck bed liner intact. Exhaust manifold installed, new, about 13 months ago. 4 wheel drive was working up until I stopped driving it last Spring 2017. Believe it's a fuse or something electrical, or maybe 4x4 motor is defective. Brakes have been repaired. Tow kit with trailer power brake system inside truck. I never used the brake system on a trailer but I assume it works. No guarantee.
Interior in decent shape with no holes or tears but carpet is worn. Power windows and locks; after market tail light covers; two newer Michelin tires lots of life left on them. Rims great showing some wear. Parts alone are worth more than my selling price.
THE BAD - 4 wheel drive needs to be checked for bad fuse, electrical short, or 4x4 defective motor. It's not working. Tailgate rusted off on left side and needs to be welded (see photos). No battery. Needs spark plug replacing. Spare tire holder broken and rusted under truck. Other exhaust needs sealing or to be replaced. 3rd door latch wont open.
THE UGLY - The frame is visually rusted but not "dangerously" rusted.
This is a local pick up only. I bought an auction truck last year for good price which is why this is for sale and hasnt been repaired. Truck ran great before it stalled on my street last year for no apparent reason. It pulled my 24' Sunrunner power boat at gross GVWR of 6000 lbs with ease.
