Description |

1966 Ford F250.
The truck starts and runs. HOWEVER, it sucks through coolant and overheats rapidly. There isn't a coolant leak so it could be as bad as the head gasket failing but I honestly don't know and don't have the time to figure it out.
Tires and wheels have less than 200 miles on them and are still under warranty. These alone cost over $1,100.
The V belt is new. Battery is good. Spark plugs and wires are new. Rotor and rotor cap are new. Radiator was replaced in the last month and while used (from a 1978 Ford truck), is in good condition. The radiator is under a 30 day guarantee that expires 07/06/17 at a local shop in Colorado Springs. Air filter is new.
The brakes were bled three weeks ago and the points were adjusted at the same time.
This truck needs cosmetic work. It's currently painted primer gray and has some rust spots in the body. The bed is particularly rusty. Bench seat is torn and needs to be reupholstered.
Could be a fun project for someone who has the time. I don't so it's time for it to go.
I am agreeable to setting up a time to take a look at the truck with potential buyers any time outside of my work hours. I live on the west side of Colorado Springs, near Old Colorado City.
Payment will be cash at time of pickup. No checks, money orders, PayPal, etc. Cash only! If you live close to where the truck is located, it can be driven to your home. If you're more than 5 miles away, I strongly recommend towing. If you decide to attempt to drive it, I will purchase coolant for the buyer. I have this listed locally as well and reserve the right to end this listing early.
Any questions, feel free to ask me and I will do my best to provide an accurate answer.
