Up for auction is a fresh builtStreet Rodwith a Town Car look.A 1930 Model A Ford 2 door sedan was used for this cool take off of a Town car in a Hot Rod. Theoriginal 2 door sedan body has been converted to a open front, roadster style. A 4" chop at the front windshield and a 3 1/2" chop on the body gives it the low long look. Visor is a custom fit to windshield posts with holesmachined in to it for that cool look.The bodyhas been channeled 4" over the Custom 2X4 tube frame with 4"Z in the front and 7"Z in the rear. Doors are capped and windows removed for the roadster look.Rear glass is new dark tint. The inside of the body has been custom fitted with sheet metal all around then power coated black.A set of Rotten Leonard seats + one rear seat fits well inside.Dash is 32 style and instruments are electronic / LED.Shifter on the floor is B&M. The E brake is a Lokar unit mounted to the tunnel. The roof panel was replaced with ribbed steal for look and strength. Floors are new steal with steel trans tunnelfor drive line. The entire body was powder coated before black paint was applied.Frame was also powder coated as was the rear4 link. Front end is round tube dropped axle with 4 bar, Vega steering, custom built steering column with removable steering wheel, pan hard rodand disk brakes. Rear is Ford 8" rear with 4 bar, pan hard rod and coil over shocks. The original gas tank was used and a set of STOP tail lights are at the rear with a set of commercial 1934 Ford head lights up front. Engine is a 460 Ford with Wieland intake, Holley carb, massive outside headers with sprint boat mufflers and coolone off air cleaner. Trans is C6 with trans cooler and works well.Radiator is a custom built aluminum unit with 4" core for good cooling. The car is running Rocket wheels, 5" spoke's on the front and 10" Rocket slotted wheels at the rear running with Hoosier tires. This Hot Rod starts easy and drives nice, and gets looks.
