Up for auction is a 1967 Mustang with the Shelby trunk. hood. front end. This car does NOT have a Title or VIN number. It is not road legal and is strictly for racing as it has been a race car most of it's life. The car is a rustfree Texas example and is not far from being able to go down the track. Drivetrain: The engine is a newly rebuilt Ford block that has been punched out to 456 cubic inches. The engine has never been fired and has been sitting for a long time in the car so you would want to tear it apart and check everything out before you tried to fire it. It also has Edlebrock aluminum heads with roller rockers and intake that are brand new and never been run. Transmission is a newly rebuilt C6 with a torque converter with a 3500 stall speed. Rearend is a narrowed Ford 9 inch. rear gears are unknown. Looks like drivetrain was all completed at the same time and the person either ran out of money or interest or both and it has sat ever since. Starting price for the entire car is the cost of the engine and drivetrain alone. New fuel cell in trunk and gauges inside the car. Interior: Interior looks great and doesn't really need to much. Very nice rollcage. should pass inspection to race. Everything is nice and clean and just needs a few finishing touches to be race ready. Exterior: In my opinion the car doesn't need painted for what it's purpose it. Panels need to be aligned better and just tweaked here and there. Doors open and shut like a new car. Just a little wax and panel alignment and it will look great. Car is what it is. remember there is NO TITLE AND VIN NUMBER for this Mustang. comes with a bill of sale only. Thanks for looking. /p>
