Rare Rare Rare 1986 Ford Escort Diesel

This car is incredibly rare to be a two door hatchback with the 2. 0 Diesel. This car was parked 6 months ago when it went into storage because it was no longer being driven. At the time it was parked it ran perfectly. It is an original California car with an amazing body. It only has one spot of rust right in front of the L/R tire. but it isn't all the way through. It still has the original paint with pretty new rubber as well. The car does have factory a/c and cruise. The a/c will need a new clutch on the compressor. When the car was parked and put in storage it was getting 59mpg. I have had several of these old diesels and they seem to run forever. I have not tried to get this car running since it was parked and put in storage. but I did purchase a new 1160CCA Battery to be sure it still turns over as it should. The body panels are straight with the normal dings and nicks that are typical for a 86 model hatchback. I just recently hauled the car home from California behind my F250. It should have many years of great service left for any Escort enthusiast. I do not have the time to work on getting the car running so it will need to be towed home.
